My name is Tania Hindle and I have been a staff governor since May 2015. I am a mother of four. My two younger children have both attended Our Lady of Lourdes School.
My previous career was in Town Planning, working for Local Governments, for 12 years. Following a career break to have my two younger children I became a volunteer at school in 2010. I helped children with reading, through the Better Reading Programme. My involvement with school gradually developed into the role of Special Support Assisstant.
I currently deliver Speech and Language interventions within Key Stage 1. I help deliver the Rainbows Programme for children that have experienced a significant loss or change in their lives. I also support the Pupil Chaplains in their role.
I am also involved in Guardian Angels’ Parish as a Eucharistic Minister and help with the Sacramental Programme.
My aim as a governor is to ensure our children reach their potential and have a happy experience at school.
I currently serve on the two Sub Committees: Curriculum and Pastoral Care.
