We have used our own designs to make our purses. We have threaded needles and tried some different sewing techniques.
Today in year 2 we read the book ‘The Dot’ a book about not being good at art but then realising that we all are talented at it and every child is an artist. We then wrote about what was talented about our partners and then we shared this with them. Lots of smiles all round.
Then in year 2 we created artwork inspired by the book ‘The Dot’ by using a black dot a freestyle line drawing.
We’ve been exploring different sketching pencil tones and charcoal
Lovely concentration in our art class today as we design our final pieces.
