“Away in Manger”
In our RE lesson the children completed the topic of Advent and reflected on the story of the birth of Jesus. They then completed a tableaux of the nativity scene and sang Away in a Manger.
In RE, continuing with Advent, the children focused on the annunciation of Mary.
In RE today we started our Advent topic. The children learned about the times we have to wait and how we use that time. We had a wrapped present in the class and the children waited very patient to find out what was inside! It was a lovely set of Christmas story books that we can read together over the next two weeks. ✝️ 🎁 🕯 🎄
In RE today the children finished our Belonging topic by creating a Baptism in class. We had our own priest, baby, parents and godparents and a very respectful congregation. ✝️❤️

“Families and Belonging”-The children acted some words from Psalm 16 & 18 which tells us about God’s love and care.
