We’ve started our new text ‘Rang-Tan in my Bedroom’. We read half the book and inferred from what we read what we thought the characters would say. We then read the rest of it and changed our minds about the characters as we learned the true meaning of the Rang-Tan’s visit.

We’ve been doing guided reading with a twist as we searched for the answers around the classroom

We’ve been writing really great sentences and sharing them with each other. We help each other with how to improve them and what is already brilliant about them.

We’ve enjoyed our day with the poet Andy Tooze as we performed and wrote poetry. Some of us were then chosen to read out our own poems in assembly.

We’ve been debating about deforestation. We then have been writing to persuade the ‘big bosses’ to stop with this to protect our planet and beautiful animals.
