The children started Arts week by going out onto the field to do observational sketching of nature.
The children were asked to go outside and have a look around the environment, they were then asked to think of something relating to nature to paint, using different coloured paints and paint brushes, the children were encouraged to use big strokes to paint their pictures.
Continuing Arts week, Reception used the IPads to take their own pictures of nature around forest school. The children enjoyed finding different parts of nature such as grass, plants, flowers, trees and feathers.
