Exploring equivalent fractions. ➗❤️ Year 3 simply adore fractions! We thoroughly enjoyed a board game to round off our topic, in which we had to find equivalent fractions. 🔢❤️
Year 3 explored measurement in different units, we measured a variety of different items within our classroom and recorded their measurements in MM and CM. 📏
Year 3 have been busy practising their division skills, we continued looking into dividing with remainders in pairs. ➗🔢🧮
Exploring division with remainders ➗🔢 Year 3 have enjoyed using alternative ways to represent division with remainders. By making different shapes we were able to access a wider range of division questions with remainders.
Flexible partitioning ➗🧮📗 - As a visual guide, year 3 physically partitioned numbers to form an equal split of a whole into 2, 3 and 4.
