Shapes - We have been learning about the properties of shapes this week. This topic was introduced through the art of Wassily Kandinsky.

We have been looking at objects that were ‘heavier than’ and ‘lighter than’ a wooden block. The children found things from around the classroom and we used the balance scales to check.

The children have been exploring capacity through sand and water. Using the language full, nearly full, half full, nearly empty and empty.
