The children wrote about their favourite toy and what was special about them.
“The Naughty Bus”: The children predicted what the story might be about then wrote down sentences about their favourite parts of the story. 🚌
As part of our Jubilee celebrations, the children together wrote an acrostic poem all about Queen Elizabeth. This will be displayed within the Brandlesholme community.👸🇬🇧

“We’re Going On is Bear Hunt”.
In English today, we had a special visitor-Miss McEarlean! She demonstrated some “Talk for Writing” for our story “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt”. The children then went on to retell The first part of the story. 🌲🐻✏️
The children talked about our new story, “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt”. They used their Oracy skills to talk about the book and then each group rehearsed acting out a page. 📚
