Rocks and Fossils Day
On Monday 17th October Tony North came to spend the day in Class 3 to deliver his fantastic Rocks and Fossils workshop.
The children had the chance to examine rock samples and learnt about the properties of different rocks. They also had the opportunity to examine some wonderful examples of fossils and learnt how these fossils are formed, and competed in a fossil hunt. The children then were able to paint their own plaster cast fossils. As i'm sure you can tell from the pictures the children had a wonderful day and learnt a huge amount.
Our visit to Guardian Angels church to commemorate the 30 year anniversary of the first World day of Prayer for Peace.
