Welcome back for the Summer Term. I hope you all had a wonderful two weeks and are all ready for the new term. 

 

The Summer term is always a busy one with lots going on so please have a look at the Curriculum Information for Parents so you know what is happening in class. Our Topic for this term is 'Our Local Area' with a particular focus on what we can do to protect our local environment.

 

Forest School will be continuing throughout the term on Fridays with Mrs Waterworth. This will start the week after Holy Week (Friday 26th April).

 

The Sacramental Programme continues this term with the children now beginning to prepare for their First Holy Communion. The children have really enjoyed sharing with myself and with Fr Paul what wonderful work they have been completing with their families in their 'I Belong' books. I look forward to seeing this continue as they prepare to take The Eucharist for the first time.  The date of the the next Sacramental Programme meeting is Saturday 18th May at 10am in the Parish centre.
