We investigated our sense of smell guessing mystery smells and trying to match smells. We also sorted smells we like and dislike and carried out our own class survey all about our favourite smells.
Greetings in sign language
When investigating our sense of hearing we talked about not being able to hear and how we can communicate through sign language.
We investigated our sense of taste trying foods that were salty, sweet and sour. We talked about our favourite meals and thought about ways to stay healthy. The children made a list of healthy foods and showed us how they exercise.
We thought about our sense of sight playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey with our eyes closed and using our eyes to carefully look at a flower and paint a picture of it. We also played a memory game using our eyes to look at objects and then guessing which one was missing.
