Ash Wednesday
Mrs Davies began the week with a reflection for the beginning of Lent. The children thought about the importance of Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.
Fr.Paul prepared the ashes by burning Palm Leaves at the Tuesday evening Mass.
We gathered together for a beautiful Ash Wednesday Service. We thank Fr.Paul for leading the service and Mr Phelan's band for accompanying our hymns. The children and staff reflected on the importance of receiving ashes to 'Love God, love one another and listen to the word of God.'
