RE - Friends
We listened to a story from the bible about Jesus and his friends. The children role played the story in groups and acted it out for the rest of the class.
We learned about Jesus' rule for friendship - 'Love one another as I have loved you'. We talked about what makes a good friend and made posters to show this. The children showed their posters and talked about them to the class.
We made a 'Friendship Circle' with hand prints we had made. We talked about Jesus' rule for friendship and what we can do if the friendship circle becomes broken. We sang a 'Friendship Song' and did some actions.
