Day 1:
In Autumn 2, we are focusing on our sending and receiving and dance. For sending a receiving, we are practicing our passing and catching skills in competitive games such as basketball. 🏀⛹🏽♀️⛹🏼♂️ In dance, we are developing our moves to match a count of 16 steps. Our song of choice is in connection to our music curriculum. 🕺🏼💃🏼🩰

The children were split into groups and were each given a word to represent something within our music piece. They then planned a 16 count dance routine to represent their word. Every child a choreographer, every child a dancer!

In Autumn 1, one of our topics in PE is 'attack and defend'. We are doing this by engaging in competitive games such as football, and by learning new skills and tactics. The other topic is 'sending and receiving'. We are also learning new skills and tactics in this topic, that allow us to effectively pass the ball and receive with confidence.
