Our Bodies
Super discussion with our partners about our favourite things and our hobbies. We then talked about how God made Girls and Boys and made us all different and similar.
LI: I understand that I need to take good care of my body which is special and created by God.
We learned about a character ‘Susie’, who finds it tricky to look after herself. The children had some brilliant ideas on how we could help Susie to take care of her body We then acted these out.

We learned a song with actions all about how God made us and how we can look after our bodies.
Feelings
We explored the different feelings we have. In our groups, we talked about times we have felt ‘happy’, ‘sad’, ‘excited’ or ‘worried’ and then shared our memories with the class.

We talked about our different feelings and how they might make us act.
We role played different scenarios to show how our feelings can sometimes make us behave in ways we don’t want to. There was lots of fantastic discussion about how the children could have reacted instead and about how we can make the right choices.
