We have been writing prayers about protecting our Earth 

Linking with the school’s new BEE-attitudes, today year 2 made little recycled bottle top bees to go around our RE display to remind us of our 5Ws. 

We’ve been looking at new beginnings in our RE topic and we looked at the new beginning of each day starting with a sunrise. We then, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, created oil pastel pictures using different art techniques of sketching, blending and fine lines. 

We have started our new RE topic of signs and symbols. We went out searching for signs and symbols that we have in our life. We found lots and we realised the importance of them all in our lives. We will be reflecting on symbols in our faith soon. 

We have been looking at the poppy as a symbol and what it means. We then wrote prayers about Remembrance Day in line with our class assembly.
