God's Wonderful World
The children wrote about the wonderful world that God created and drew some beautiful pictures. In groups, we talked about our work and then sang a 'Thank you song' to God. The children used the xylophones to play to the rhythm of their song, singing and playing beautifully.
We talked about how we can share God's wonderful world and looked at the work of CAFOD. We looked at the 'Fairtrade' website and talked about this helps people in poorer countries. The children looked for the 'Fairtrade' sign on some chocolate packaging and they enjoyed tasting the chocolate!
We talked about how we can look after God’s Wonderful World. The children had some fantastic ideas and made some lovely posters to show this.
