“Toys in space”: Following on from last lesson the children wrote three simple sentences to describe one of the toys found in our outdoor area.
“Toys in Space”: The children were surprised by the mysterious appearance of some toys in their outdoor area. They discussed why they might have been arrived and decided to plan a found poster . They created a list of words to describe the toys. 🧸
“Leaf Man”: The children rehearsed and composed sentences telling us where their Leaf man had travelled. To celebrate Dyslexia week they used an app as an alternative way of recording their sentences. 🍂🍁🍀
“Leaf Man”: The children took their leaf man outside and talked about where he had travelled.🍁🍂🍁
“Leaf Man “: The children predicted where Leaf Man had blown too and wrote a simple sentence to explain this.
“Leaf Man”: The children were introduced to their new text and predicted what might happen in the story. They then went on to write a simple character description.
