We role played different scenarios for being ‘left out’ and then explored how this made us feel. We talked about how Jesus welcomes everyone and the children had some lovely ideas for how we can welcome each other.
We role played Jesus calling the children to sit with Him and Jesus welcomed everybody individually by their name. We had some super ideas for how this made us feel. We learned that God made us all unique and He welcomes each of us to Him personally.
We closed our eyes and imagined the Kingdom of Heaven. We talked about our ideas with our Talk Partners and then shared them with the class.
