World Bee Day! We dressed up in yellow and black and had lots of fun seeing some little visitors - Mr Walsh’s bees! 🐝
One of our grandparents kindly sent in some honeycomb from their beehive. We observed it closely and enjoyed smelling it too!
Queen’s Jubilee Assembly - we started the day’s celebrations with a whole school assembly.
The choir sang for us too in assembly!
Queen’s Jubilee Activities - we had a special visitor to do some craft activities and we made some fabulous crowns. We learned about how to look after our world and made some flags to show this for the Brandlesholme Community Event. The whole school used their finger prints to make a picture of the queen and we finished the day with some delicious cake! 👑 🇬🇧 🧁
