14/01/20 Today we focused on Mission and how inspirational people and communities can Make A Difference MAD. We heard a story about one woman who made her career as a nurse into to a mission to help people with mental health. We were also fortunate that Councillor Martin Hayes (a governor at our school) was available to share some of his work and how he has helped to tidy the local community.  
 

We thought about how charities and groups have a mission to make a difference to many peoples' lives. We have created fact sheets about different charities and groups. 

21/01/20 We have used the gospel of St Matthew to locate the scripture and stories about Jesus. We have then linked the scripture and Mission of Jesus to the Charities that we have researched. We found that many charities are fulfilling the Mission of Jesus to help others.
