Fantastic news for one of our year 2s. During her time at Rainbows they have been preparing for the Queens Jubilee and in doing so they have received a previous letter from the queen herself. This brilliant news made it into the Bury Times.
Year two have been looking at the British Values focusing on Democracy- we had a little class vote and enjoyed it. We looked at the rights of men and women in voting and how this has changed

HAPPY NATIONAL BEE DAY! We’ve loved our bee day and our little bee visitors as we’ve now introduced and welcomed our new hive.
We had the most FIRETASTIC trip to Bury Fire Station yesterday. We learnt all about how to keep safe in emergencies. We made 999 calls, learnt how to stop drop and roll, looked for Fire hazards in a house and garden and observed hazards on the road.
