Good morning everyone.
As I will be in school this week preparing the classroom for our return after half term, there will be a change in the way home learning will be set on Seesaw. I will not be making the usual daily announcements but will, instead, be setting work for the week today, though this will be supplemented with some additional activities as the need arises.
This week:
Monday morning check-in on Seesaw.

We're back to the 'Cut and Paste' section - choose a new activity (due by Friday).
History/Geography
When we return to school, we will be reading a book set in South Sudan. This is a country that not many of us know a lot about: you're going to change that!
I would like you to see what facts you can find about South Sudan - I'll leave it open/won't prompt you, collect your information and find an interesting way of presenting it. Whatever you discover will help you in your understanding and enjoyment of the book.
For this activity, we'll say a due date of Sunday 31st May.
RE
Continue with the RE activity set towards the end of last week.
R.E. Activity
Towards the end of the month, there are some important religious feasts for several religions:
21st May: Ascension Day
24th May: First Day of Eid ul Fitr
29th May: First day of Shavuot
31st May: Pentecost (Whit Sunday)
I would like you to choose two of these (more if you wish), conduct some research and present a report to inform your audience about them.
I'm giving you until next Thursday (20th May) to present your work on Seesaw. I'll leave it up to you as to how you wish to present it; I have been impressed with your presentation skills so far - so keep it up!
Regards,
Mr. P.
