READING BOOKS: Reading books will be changed by the children as frequently as they need to. The aim for our class target is that children read at least 3 times a week. The amount of reading will be tallied and totalled each week so the children can work towards bronze, silver and gold awards. A total of 81 reads or more for the whole class will result in a class treat!

A love of reading is important and so we are very flexible with the reading book choices your child makes. They can read their own books as well as books from the class library.

For extra house points/treats - Can you get somebody to take a photograph of you reading in an unusual place and bring it in?

Independent or extra work at home

We have a 'Children Only' display in class. An opportunity for children to display some work they have completed additional to routine homework. They may want to complete extra research about a topic or produce some art work. Feel free to send it in to be displayed.
