RE - Gathering
We explored what it means to 'gather'. We had a 'Gathering Celebration' and celebrated us all being back together again. We had hot chocolate, biscuits and crisps and and played 'Pass the Parcel'.
We learned about how the Parish Family gather together in church. We built a church using bricks and role played being in church.
We had an end of topic reflection, thinking about what it means to 'gather'. The children had some lovely ideas and talked about how it makes us feel happy. We passed a smile around the circle and gave each other the 'Sign of Peace'. We sang 'Gather Together' and made up own actions.
