Great Fire of London(updated 24.11.16)
8th November
Today we had a visit from Inspector Waterworth, who showed us some clues to help us learn about the Great Fire of London. We became mini detectives by following a police brief sheet and answering questions from different types of clues; a tray of ashes, newspaper report, diary entry, shop list, events in history list and a QR code linked to a website. We also had the opportunity to use our speaking and listening skills to ask Inspector Waterworth questions.
Art work and computing
We looked at paintings of the Great Fire of London and created our own drawings using oil pastels and crayons.
Using the 'making Nets' programme on Purple Mash, we made small models of Tudor houses.
