We were very lucky to have a visit from Florence's mummy who is a Neonatal Nurse! The children enjoyed hearing about her very important job.
Fire Fighters - we learnt to line up really quickly in fire drill order. We explored the school looking for fire alarms, fire extinguishers and fire exits. We welcomed Theo’s Grandad To visit the class and tell us all about his daring job as a Fire Fighter.

Growing - we have been learning all about how things grow; ourselves from babies, Spring animals, a plant. We sowed runner beans and took great care of them. We investigated the plant every day, ensuring they got sufficient light , water and air. We took notes weekly to measure the plant and draw a picture of its current size and features.
Identifying spring flowers - daffodil. We learnt all the parts of a flower; bulb, stem, flower and leaves. We investigated the flower and then used different resources to replicate the daffodils.
Growing - Our Runner Bean plants are ready to be transferred to the garden. Our egg heads look like they are ready for a haircut!
