A message from the Year 1 team...

Welcome back to our final term in Year 1! In this summer term we will continue our exciting and wonderful journey together. To begin with the children will explore Michael Rosen's super story of “We're Going on a Bear Hunt”. The children will act out the story using their drama skills and learn about the poetry. This will be followed by a journey on a "Naughty Bus" and the children will recount the many adventures of the bus and link them into their topic work of transport. In Art and Design the children will create their own work in the style of Yorkshire Sculptor Barbara Hepworth.
