Here you will how passionate we are about caring for God's creation. God created this world for us and provided it as a gift, it is our mission to care for it.

Mission Statement:

Our responsibility is to make sure our school is ECO friendly. This means that we are living in a way that is not harmful to the environment and are caring for God’s world, our common home.

Why?

Our changing environment prompts us to stop and think about how we live on our planet. We are called to respond and to adopt new ways of living as Pope Francis highlights in his encyclical, Laudato Si': On the Care for our Common Home.

Step 2: Judge

As we begin our new eco journey, we started by completing an environmental review. During this, we looked into five main categories in each classroom: energy, litter, waste, school grounds and transport.

Alongside the positives, we were honest and found a few things that we must improve on as a school. We reviewed this together and created an action plan. We have split the action plan into the following three phases:
