Year 3 have explored ‘special’ places in the life of Jesus, and their poignance for Christian’s. We discussed the reasons for their significance, and compared them to our own special places. ✝️💒🤍
Year 3 have continued their preparation to their First Holy Communion by exploring how to receive the Holy Eucharist. We discussed the importance of showing reverence during our journey to the Alter, how to accurately take the body of Christ and how to appropriately return to our pews. ✝️🙏🏽🤍
Year 3 were joined by year 5 for a special ‘prayer partner’ session, in support of year 3 preparing to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist. ✝️
Year 3 led both a reflective and informative prayer and liturgy all about the holy trinity. 🙏🏽✝️ We explored the role of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, reflecting on the times we have felt their presence. 🕊️
Reconciliation day ✝️🙏🏽 Year 3 made their first confessions, as they continue further in their faith journey to receiving the sacrament of the Eucharist. After the reflective service a trip to the park was much enjoyed
Year 3 led a beautiful prayer and liturgy today all about Our Blessed Lady. 🙏🏽✝️ We reflected on all the things Mary has and continues to do for us, whilst meditating on the special women in our lives. We concluded our Prayer and Liturgy with the Prayer Our Lady taught us. 💙

Year 3 took part in a beautifully reflective, pupil led ‘prayer and liturgy’. We focused on the Ascension, where Jesus ascended into heaven as an intercessor for us on Earth, in preparation for the poignant upcoming feast day. 🕯️🙏🏽✝️
Year 3 have been exploring all about the Holy Spirit’s role as a part of the Holy trinity. We went on to explain its existence in scripture as well as looking at the 7 gifts it has bestowed upon us. 🕊️🤍
Year 3 enjoyed their visit from Imran Kotwal in celebration of interfaith week, who delivered a wonderful session all about the Mosque! ☪️ We explored the role of the Imam, the Wudu area as well as the locations of the 3 holiest Mosques in the world. 🕋
