Remembrance in November 2024
Year 6 sold poppies and merchandise to raise money for the Royal British Legion. The whole school showed their support by buying and wearing them to remember the fallen.
Year 6 also led a special Remembrance assembly to help the school reflect on the sacrifices the armed forces have made for our country and how they can find strength from God during difficult times.
The GIFT Team led the school in prayer after the two minute silence.
Our Remembrance Book was placed in the GIFT Team room and children were invited to write a prayer or name of a loved one they wanted to pray for.
