We have been busy making lots of colourful and wonderful Easter art after a week of writing about all of the days leading up to it

We have been learning all about Ash Wednesday and role playing this to fully understand it

We have been out looking for things that we appreciate in our wonderful world in continuing with Laudato Si. We’ve then been taking photographs of these, led a collective worship of thanks and then sketched and wrote prayers about them.

What a fantastic end to our celebrations this week of “Laudato Si”! Year 2 have absolutely loved learning all about recycling and different ways to look after our beautiful Earth 

We’ve have absolutely LOVED Laudato Si week as we’ve used recycled materials to create our own fashion outfits ready dress up day.

We set up the disciples table and role played the blessing of the bread and wine as we learn about the Eucharist 

We’ve enjoyed our collective worship today as we pray for each other and follow in footsteps of Jesus as we learn about the Eucharist

We’ve been role playing the different roles in church 

We have been taking part in a collective worship whilst looking at our big question ‘Why do we need books?’

We’ve been creating double page spreads all about the gospel 

We’ve been looking at how we can contribute to the common good close to home by creating our own home pictures with examples inside

We’ve been exploring the bible and it’s teachings and how to use it
